  • Payment records: invoices and payments made to us.
  • Messages you send us, for example on WhatsApp or by email.
  • CCTV footage recorded inside the centre.
  • Website visits: this website runs on Squarespace, which uses cookies and collects basic visit data such as pages viewed and device type.

For students under 18, we collect and use their personal data with a parent's or guardian's consent.

Why we use it

  • To arrange and teach lessons, including make-up lessons and online lessons on Zoom.
  • To keep each student's work in a private Google Drive folder that only the family and our teachers can see.
  • To contact parents and students about lessons, progress and schedules.
  • To issue invoices and keep accounting records.
  • To keep the centre safe and secure (CCTV).

We do not sell personal data.

Lesson recordings

We do not currently record lessons. If we start, we will tell students and parents before any recording is made.

Photos and testimonials

If you would like a photo or quote of you or your child removed from our website or social media, contact us and we will take it down.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the services we use to run the centre: Google (Drive and email), Zoom, WhatsApp, Squarespace (this website) and our bank for payments. We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

  • Worksheets, notes and Google Drive folders: kept only as long as they are useful for teaching, and deleted on request.
  • Class photos and cards from past students: kept as part of the centre's history. Ask us and we will remove any that include you or your child.
  • Invoices and payment records: kept for 5 years for accounting purposes.
  • CCTV footage: kept for a limited period, then deleted automatically.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent for us to use it. We will reply within 30 days. If you withdraw consent, we may not be able to continue providing lessons.
