Toh Huiran

A member of the national water polo team…

Never one to shy away from a challenge, Huiran took up the coveted spot on Singapore’s national water polo team in 2013. Her resilience also gained her place in Yale-NUS College where she currently majors in Environmental Studies.

For Huiran, M4M grew to become more than just a tuition centre to her. “M4M was a big part of my life. I would come here to chill before my lessons started and made a lot of friends. It was always very comfortable.” Huiran credits M4M for her strong results in Math. “Coming from the Humanities Programme, most of my focus was always on my humanities subjects. Math always took as backseat. Thanks to M4M, I achieved an A for Math.”

Huiran is walking proof that with hard work, the right guidance and learning environment, there are no limits to what one can achieve.
